Doctor Yousef is designed to simplify medicine without turning simplification into misinformation. Guides therefore show sources, publication information and review status.
Sources
Priority is given to medical-society guidelines, official regulatory bodies, systematic reviews, consensus papers and peer-reviewed literature rather than marketing material.
Review and updates
“Last verified” indicates that key claims and references were reviewed again. When evidence changes, the existing guide is updated rather than leaving outdated duplicates online.
Education is not individual treatment
General medical education does not know an individual's history, medicines, examination findings or contraindications and therefore does not replace personal diagnosis or treatment.
Corrections and disclosure
Material errors and outdated references should be corrected, and commercial collaborations should be clearly disclosed without changing editorial standards.
